Who We Are:

Holy Mission for Children’s Welfare and Rural Development was initiated  in 2005 when a group of friends came together with intention of giving back to the society on the spiritual inspection of Mother Teresa, who believes in service of got through service of poor distressed, neglected and underprivileged of the society.

Over the years, Holy Mission has expanded and strengthened its inventive programs and initiatives to bring a practical turnaround in the present social structure. The activities that the organization is involved in the diverse activities on the issues of Child Rights , Women’s Rights & Livelihood,   Climate Changes  impact on communities, Crops diversification for sustainable agriculture ,  Awareness campaigns, workshops and programs that are designed to cater to the need-based approach.

We are having a good governance system while running this organization; all decisions are being taken in board meetings and board meetings are being made quarterly, the board of director is being selected in the annual general meeting held every year, vision and mission statement are clearly stated. Accountability measurers, commitment and transparency, there is good governance and management system of our organization, mission, vision community engagement, financial accountability, monitoring and evolution, staff management etc and sustainability practices are being maintained in our all activities.

Management: The organisation is managed by a governing body with experts both from program and finance to guide the entire functioning of the organisation.  The governing body has a system of meeting, reviewing, and guidance for planning for different programs of the organisation. The governing body also encourages the next line of program leadership to accelerate the organisation presence across the State of West Bengal.

Governance: The organization has a process of a finance & program planning system including a projection for fundraising. Staff capacity building training, orientation for newly recruited staff is being maintained and staff performance appraisal is being followed and maintained to enhance performance of staff members and ensuing accountability towards the organization.

Organizational Structure: There are 7 members on board of governing body members of the organization. Holy Mission has a trained and technically sound program and finance management team that executes activities with available resources in closed coordination with the management team. Holy Mission has a transparent and systematic communication mechanism encourages to all leveling of members attached to the organization irrespective of their status.
